Belarus Follow Up

The Belarus team brought the spirit of PEHELI4All home, turning inspiration into action. From peaceful lakeside hikes and cyanotype art workshops to creative bead-making and nature-based mindfulness, they engaged young people across Belarus, Poland, and Lithuania in activities that nurtured both physical and mental well-being. Through these events, they shared the project's lessons, promoted Erasmus+ opportunities, and encouraged participants to explore creativity, connection, and self-care. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, and cultural exchange left a lasting mark on their communities and inspired many to embark on their own Erasmus+ journeys.

Follow-Up Activity Report

Оur team delivered 5 follow-up activities in Poland, Belarus, and Lithuania. In various formats, our team shared our experiences of participating in the PEHELI4All projects and organised activities that foster physical and mental well-being, inspired by the activities we undertook during the project. Overall, our activities were attended by 80 young people interested in the project topic and opportunities under Erasmus+.

Activity in Wroclaw

I was at a youth camp and led a short yoga session. We did some breathing, joint warm-up, basic asanas, and ended with a chill Shavasana. good vibes, and people enjoyed it.  After that, I shared some information about Erasmus+ — what it is, what we did in our project, and why it was such a valuable experience. Some folks got interested and asked questions. Overall, it was simple, relaxed and really nice. Big thanks to everyone who joined!

Activity in Belarus (04.07.2025)

After taking part in the PEHELI4All project in Cyprus, we realised how deeply physical health and mental well-being are connected. We wanted to share this experience with young people from our community, so we organised a day trip into nature. During the trip, we did a small hike in the forest, led a creative workshop inspired by the activities we had done in Cyprus, and shared what we had learned from the project.

In Cyprus, we did a lot of activities using art to reflect on our feelings, like painting with closed eyes, rock painting, and sculpting. These helped us connect with ourselves and better understand our emotions. For our follow-up, we decided to do something similar but with a twist. Instead of using paints, we painted with light. We ran a cyanotype workshop, which is a type of photographic printing that uses sunlight.

We explained to the participants how creative expression benefits mental well-being and asked them to find plants and natural objects that reflected how they felt inside or that symbolised peace and balance for them. Then they placed these objects on special light-sensitive paper to create their own blue-and-white prints. The process was calming and creative, and it reminded us of the activities we did in Cyprus. Just like painting with closed eyes, the outcome couldn't be fully controlled. And just like rock painting, the final image became a way to express inner emotions. The trip took place by a quiet lake in the forest, which gave everyone a chance to slow down, enjoy nature, and reflect, just like we did in Cyprus. Throughout the day, we shared stories, knowledge, and insights from our time in Cyprus and explained how Erasmus+ projects work. We told participants how they could get involved in similar projects, travel, learn new things, and grow personally. It was a meaningful way to share what we have learnt at PEHELI4All and encourage more young people to care for both their physical and mental well-being.

Activity in Bialystok, Poland (15.06.2025)

After coming back from the PEHELI4ALL Erasmus+ project in Cyprus, I wanted to share what we learned with others in my local community. Since during the project we focused a lot on mental well-being and art practices, I decided to organize a picnic in the city park in Białystok.

18 people from Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus joined the event. We spent time outside, connecting with nature and trying out three different creative practices, just like we did during the project in Cyprus.

Participants were split into three groups and each group got a chance to try each practice. After every activity, we took a moment to reflect on how it made us feel. At the end of the picnic, we all sat together in a big reflection circle, sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

It was a really meaningful chance to practice mindfulness, connect with others, and learn how creativity can support mental well-being. I'm happy that this follow-up gave more young people tools to care for both their minds and bodies, and it helped spread the spirit of PEHELI4ALL even further.

Activity in Kraków, Poland (19.06.2025)

After the PEHELI 4ALL project, I felt an extra surge of motivation for an active and healthy lifestyle, so I really wanted to share it. Therefore, as a follow-up activity, I chose to organize an outdoor volleyball game at the sports court on my university campus. During the break between sets, I told the participants about the different ERASMUS programs and how to join them, and specifically about the PEHELI 4ALL program. After the game, several interested participants came up with additional questions about ERASMUS, which I was more than happy to answer.

Activity in Vilnius and in Ukmerge, Lithuania (08.07.2025, 12.06.2025)

I had a great chance after the PEHELI4All project in Cyprus to share my acquired knowledge with youngsters in two Lithuanian cities in Ukmerge and in Vilnius. In Ukmerge we decided to start with energizer to warm up teenagers, then we smoothly moved on talking about our personal expression from this ERASMUS project, especially about the PEHELI 4ALL program. Pupils were very engaged and asked many questions about such opportunities, how to build connections with different nations, find inner peace and learn from others. During my presentation in Vilnius I decided to concentrate more on finding inner peace through art. It's like art therapy to relax and forget about any problems. The participants created patterns from beads with elements of national Belarusian ornaments. Everyone expressed their satisfaction, people were happy to participate in this art process. For them it was important to see how a full picture is created from small details. Then I talked about the opportunities to participate in Erasmus projects, especially in the PEHELI 4ALL program. And everyone was fired up with the idea of being involved in similar events in the future.

Evaluation Paragraphs  from participants from Belarus

Miraslau:

The Erasmus+ trip to Cyprus was something completely new for me. First time seeing mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, first real hiking, and my first proper flight as an adult. All of it flipped my perspective and gave me a big inner push.

The project was super well-organized — everything on time, smooth, and good vibes all the way. The program was intense but there was also enough free time for personal reflection. I really had space to rethink a lot of things.

Yoga was a special part for me. After the project, I already did a yoga session back home. People came, we practiced, I shared about Erasmus and the experience. Everyone enjoyed, and it gave me confidence and motivation to keep doing it.

And English… man, I came with zero. Just complete zero. But during the project, I started speaking, understanding others, expressing my thoughts. Now I can actually talk and understand — and that's huge progress for me.

Overall — everything was amazing. People, vibes, experiences. It really changed something inside me.

Alesia:

Participating in the PEHELI4All project in Cyprus was a valuable experience that helped me grow personally and professionally. I had the chance not only to take part in the activities but also to help lead some of them, which gave me hands-on experience with non-formal education methods. The training sessions were well-thought-out and deeply engaging. They gave everyone the chance to reflect, learn, and connect. The project's organisation was impressive. Everything ran smoothly, and the team created a welcoming, supportive space for participants. The main highlight for me was the opportunity to learn more about Cyprus and other participants' countries. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to participating in similar projects in the future!

Vesta:

PEHELI4ALL was my third Erasmus+ project and the most memorable! I had never been to Cyprus and truly fell in love with this country - it is beautiful!

The project included many interesting practices and informative sessions, as well as excursions to other cities, hiking and networking. I met cool guys from different countries and became very close friends with my Belarusian team.

During the project I acquired many new skills, especially in the field of intercultural communication and teamwork.

In addition, I was delighted with the cultural events where we tried local cuisine - I don't even remember the exact names, but I ate a lot of sweets from all countries!

This experience inspired me to continue working in an international environment and I am already planning my next trip, but within the ESC, to expand my experience!

Dziamjan:

This project was my first ever experience not only as a participant in such an initiative, but also it was my first time to communicate with people from abroad. The project was really well organized. All events were interesting and well set up. The reflection time in the evening made it easy to give feedback and adjust on the fly ensuring everyone felt comfortable throughout. The openness of the facilitators and participants made the atmosphere really friendly and cooperative. Through the project's activities, I gained valuable knowledge I would not have discovered on my own and I'm eager to share it with others. Beyond this experience I formed new friendships and acquaintances. For me, people and communication are the most important things and they made this time truly memorable.

I felt comfortable while being here. Accommodation and transport were handled precisely, making our stay way better. The hotel was a great place and the staff were nice and helpful. The meals were tasty, everything was on time. Cyprus was a great place and experiencing it that way was a truly wonderful opportunity.
