Lithuania Follow Up

🇱🇹 Lithuanian Team's Follow-Up Activities for PEHELI 4 ALL

🔰 Introduction

One month after returning from the impactful youth exchange in Cyprus, the Lithuanian team actively organized meaningful local follow-up activities to share their knowledge and experience with their peers. The aim was to disseminate the project's results, raise awareness about healthy lifestyles and intercultural learning, and engage local communities using the tools and skills gained during the Erasmus+ project PEHELI 4 ALL. These events reflected the true spirit of Erasmus+: youth empowerment, experiential learning, and social engagement.

🏫 Main Follow-Up Events

🗓 Dates: 12 & 18 June 2025

📍 Locations:

  • 'Tekme' School, Pabaiskas, Ukmergė Region, Lithuania

  • Campsite in Klaipėda, Lithuania
👥 Participants: 40+ young people, including classmates, peers, teachers, and parents.

🔍 Activities Implemented

  1. Energiser: "Hi, Ha, Ho"
A dynamic and fun activity led by Lithuanian participants to showcase how energisers kick-start Erasmus+ activities. It brought laughter and engagement to the group.

  2. Video Presentation
A documentary-style video, created by one of the Lithuanian participants, captured day-by-day highlights from the exchange in Cyprus. It served as a powerful visual storytelling tool to introduce others to the experience.

  3. Interactive Discussion
Moderated sessions where participants and leaders shared their emotions, challenges, and memorable moments from the project. Local youth joined the conversation and asked questions, which deepened their understanding of Erasmus+ and youth mobility.

  4. Cultural Tasting
Snacks brought from Cyprus were shared as a symbolic gesture of cultural exchange and hospitality.

  5. Dance Workshop
The Lithuanian participants taught their peers a traditional Hungarian dance they had learned during the Cultural Night in Cyprus. Though not all dancing could be completed in the school due to time, they continued the workshop later with classmates, parents, and teachers at the campsite in Klaipėda.

🗣️ Social Media Dissemination

Each Lithuanian participant created and published at least two social media posts (on Facebook or Instagram), sharing their reflections, experiences, and impact of the project. They also contributed to a national video promoting Erasmus+ and the outcomes of PEHELI 4 ALL.

Evaluation paragraphs from Lithuanian participants

🇱🇹 Eglė

I liked everything about the project — every activity was interesting, fun, and useful. The training was well-organised and thought through. It made me realise many important things about health and lifestyle. Our local follow-up activity was done in our school with classmates, some teachers, and parents. We did a presentation, an energiser, shared some snacks, and danced. I feel more confident, informed, and aware about different cultures now. This was an amazing experience I will always remember. I wouldn't change anything — I liked everything about it.

🇱🇹 Martyna

The organisation of the project was perfect. Everything was designed and implemented professionally. I really liked that there were many different types of activities for all kinds of participants. Our local follow-up took place at school and in a campsite in Klaipėda, where we did energisers, gave a presentation, had discussions, and danced. I gained lots of useful knowledge, information, and experience. Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing — I liked everything, including the food, people, activities, and places.

🇱🇹 Vėjunė

The project was very well organised — everything was on time, structured, and interesting. There were many active, creative, and fun activities. The training was very useful, especially the sports activities and hiking. Learning more about diet and a healthy lifestyle was important for me. For our follow-up, we presented and did energisers at "Tekmė" school and performed a dance in a campsite in Klaipėda. I now have great memories, improved my English and communication skills, made friends, and learned about Cyprus and other cultures. I especially liked the hiking, pool activities, visiting Pissouri, and dancing. Everything was great!

🇱🇹 Emilija

I think the project was very professionally organised. Everything during the training was well presented and useful. In our school, we held a follow-up with a presentation, energisers, some snacks from Cyprus, and a dance we learned during the project. I really loved this experience and will value it for a long time. It gave me more confidence and helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses. I gained knowledge about health topics and learned more about other cultures. I liked most of the activities — some pushed me out of my comfort zone, which was a good thing. I especially loved the place we stayed at, the food, the ice cream, the activities, and the people.

🇱🇹 Sofija

For me, the project was perfect. Everything was well organised and implemented. Our local follow-up was held in our school and at a campsite in Klaipėda with quite a lot of people. We did a presentation, discussion, dancing, and energiser. I gained a lot of new knowledge and had an exciting experience. I also learned new methods and did activities I had never done before. It was amazing to learn about Cyprus and meet new people from other cultures. There's nothing I would change — I liked everything.

🇱🇹 Paulina

I think the organisation of the project was very good. The topics and activities were really interesting and useful. For the follow-up, we organised a presentation with a video, an energiser, and a dancing activity in our school. Through this project, I learned more about health, Erasmus+ opportunities, and other cultures. My communication skills improved and I feel proud to have connected with other people and learned from them. I really enjoyed the creative activities, the dancing, and the reflections. I wish there were more opportunities like this. I liked everything a lot.

General Evaluation

As Lithuanian national team of six young people participated in Peheli4All project in Pissouri, Cyprus during the period of May 25 th to June 3rd 2025, us as leaders Agne Ziziene and Ingrida Pociute witnessed their enthusiasm and focus on the subject during the project. Participants were active, communicative with other participants and responsible when it came to attending activities and wise during them. They showed their interest in each activity presented and respect towards the facilitators, other participants and general instructions and rules applied. As for leaders the group was easily managed, participants also had to experience thinking 'outside the box', leaving their comfort zones, opening up which was a great experience to lead them through the process and realise how young people gain growth during such experiences.

Report and follow up activities were done shortly after returning from the project in school of 'Tekme'. The national team were responsible for making the video presentation of all the activity days during the project, presenting the energiser game and teaching a Hungarian dance. As for the reflection part the participants were happy to share with their peers their experience and introduce what the Erasmus experience was like which no doubt intrigued those who listened. Such a task was a great way for participants to reflect on their experience and knowledge while sharing with their peers the concept of Erasmus youth exchanges and this particular project's subject.

Project management met our expectations and needs from the first day that we started it, it was done precisely and responsibly with great attention to details, subject matter, timing, outcomes. Our team has nothing to mention on what could be done better as we were completely satisfied, included, informed and also inspired on many different levels. The project's subject and activities that were planned in Hylatio, Pissouri and Limassol were very well thought through and these locations are perfect for such projects. As for other partner countries, we felt and saw that this project is about inclusion, breaking the stereotypes, cultural boundaries and greatly impacting the growth for all.

Sincerely,

Lithuanian national team leader Ingrida Pociute
